Heather is a PhD student in the Joint Graduate Programme in 
Communication & Culture at York/Ryerson Universities. Her research critically examines the 'politics of mobile data' as understood through the intersection of mobility and location. In particular, she focuses on how these elements inform the design and use of new mobile devices.
